		<description>The owls are starving. We didn't have a big meadow vole crop this winter.  Canada's voles crashed so their starving owls moved down here.  There are owls here this winter that most of us have never seen in Maine.</description>

		<description>It was taken just north of the intersection of Rts 1 and 9.  The owl isn't well.  It nearly flew into the side of a log truck, landed in the snow and managed to fly up onto this branch.  I took a few pics with 48x zoom and left.</description>
